Stalin skyscraper on Kotelnicheskaya embankment in Moscow is a dwelling house, built in the year 1940. This skyscraper was designed by architects d. N. Čečulinym, A. K. Rostkovskim, engineer l. M. Hochman. The project itself was adopted in 1938, and the main stage of construction was completed in 1940.
Home construction supervised Lavrentiy Beria. He chose the site for construction. In 1940, it was elite House carrying 540 flats. The central tower is 26 floors and has a height of 176 metres together with a Spire. The second stage of construction began in 1948 and ended in the year 52.
Today in the House of the 700 apartments, shops and a cinema.
