The building of the Moscow City Hall, Located on the main street of Moscow on Tverskaya 13 – not only the administrative building and the seat of power. This beautiful historic building, built in 18 century, as the residence of the governor-general of Moscow. The palace was built in 1782 It was designed by the famous architect MF Kazakov. This is a typical example of Russian classicism. During the construction of buildings, stone was used, remaining at dismantling the old fortress wall – white city.
Residence of Governor General of Moscow lasted until 1917 of the year. With the advent of the new government, The building houses the Moscow City Council. Now it is Moscow Mayor's Office. In the same building is the Press-Service of the Mayor of Moscow.
