Ladoga street in Moscow - I have a few years, both I came across the street and not that it is to me as something very like, but I would like to highlight it, and it, in my opinion, worth.
I'll start from afar. In Moscow, a lot of places, where you can sit in a cafe, walk down the street, sit on a bench with friends and chew the fat about the eternal and the beautiful. parks, Boulevard, landscaped courtyard with seating places. Separately, there are pedestrian zones, which is also quite a lot of. Everyone has heard the Arbat and St. Nicholas.
After large-scale renovations sidewalks of many streets in the center have been expanded and can also be considered a pedestrian. Although still not quite complete pavement pedestrian zone.
But part of the Ladoga street with cafes and shops is a complete area for hiking, free transport.
This street is close to the metro Bauman and is old enough, even by Moscow standards, street. Its name is not on behalf of the homeowner, not from the name of the bank, which was somewhere in the area. by the way, about the area - Ladoga Street is part of the famous German settlement, and was originally a commercial area - so the shops and cafes here historically more than appropriate and are in fact the heirs of shops and restaurants, located in the area.
Now the streets are preserved commercial buildings since the last century - including the part of the German market, built in the early 20 century.
I do not intend to capture every inch of Ladoga street. Just I walked with a camera and took a few photos. by heart. After all, as it happens - not removed, thought: "Then I will come, still have time ". A few years later the appearance has changed and the, that it has not and will not return. And even like nothing demolished, all survived, but something has already gone.
For example, doors, which I'm going to write. Old doors - they disappear and it's probably natural. they age, Ports and owners change them with new ones. It's great, but with the doors out of his life and no longer handles, which concerned people, living in the house 100 years ago and disappears something, It takes forever. Oh well - it is a separate issue.
