Nikolskaya Street - one of the oldest streets in Moscow. The first mention of the street name found in 1547 year. While the street is integral with the streets Lubyanka and Sretenka, together with which street it is part of the road Vladimir.

AT 1935 , the street was renamed and became known as the Street 25 October. AT 1990 , the street returned to its historical name.

AT 2013 , the street became a pedestrian. Fully street renovation was completed in 2015 year.

At the end of December 2015 years on the street, as well as throughout the Moscow turned light assembly designs. The light tunnel has been created, made in stylized Russian style.
