Spring walk through the streets of Saratov

Spring Street photos – This particular style of photos and special shooting type. It's my opinion, I or anyone not impose, but I will try to confirm his opinion on the example of a small collection of photos Spring Street, made on the streets of Saratov.

This is the second spring series, made in Saratov. But if the previous shots were taken in the early spring, then this series is made in late April and is different and colors and mood.

First of, why I think, that spring street photos are different from summer or winter pictures and not for the first time in their publications I say about it. You might think, that spring is my favorite season. And yet, yes – this is so. Spring is my favorite time of year, and it seems to me, that it was in the spring of my photos are better, than at other times of the year.

In my opinion this is due to the emotional component of the creative process. Spring – the update and mood, I have anyway, is always higher in the spring. Even in the early spring I notice, I want to shoot something more positive. Maybe that's why I'm looking for a light and bright scenes.

I sometimes think, spring mood that applies to most of the residents of the city and the sad and dreary spring becomes smaller parties. Or maybe just dreary and boring people in spring sit at home and fewer are located on street.

This is of course a joke, but in every joke there is some truth.

Here observe themselves in the spring on a nice sunny day for the people. Still, spring and more fun people smiling.

so, as you know, once I have the mood and feeling of spring, I photograph and try to do it in this positive way. Unconsciously looking for such stories and concede too dark or dreary. At all, melancholy not want to shoot and let the story seems to be three artistic, Spring wants good feelings, not highly artistic angst.

I have come to believe, that for each time at photos should be the mood: winter – something fundamental and severe, sometimes joyful and cheerful; autumn – quiet and bright in the middle of the season and at the end of a dramatic; summer – joy, but the joy of calm without any strain.

Spring – positive. Of course, It may not be so, that all pictures will be just as positive or dramatic. We are talking about the main trends of the season. Scenes can also be different and not always cheerful, that does not change the general mood.

Now that, where and how this series was filmed, and what I was shooting. Taken everything was in Saratov, while walking on the Quay of Cosmonauts, Limes through the park and along the avenue of Kirov.

Equipment

I shot everything on the Nikon D750. And this time I tested the AF 80-200 2,8D ED. excellent lens, ideal for street photography, shooting portraits and nature.

Telephoto lens is certainly not allow to shoot architecture so, how it could be done with a wide-angle or with a generalist, as 24-120, but the task at 80-200 very different.

Although this model is already tired and there is no stabilizer, but still shoot this lens is a pleasure. That's not very fond of formulaic phrases about the lens pattern, but that's about this glass can talk specifically about special drawing.
