Summer street photography 2020, what is it, what stories will remain in the memory of people in years through 10, 20 or 50? Want to guess? Yes, you yourself will answer.
US protests, performances in Europe, viral theme around the world and more, etc.
But I do not want to remember this summer just like that. Why? The life of an individual person is negligible and there are not many positive moments in it.. And the older you get, the more you know the world, the less you have left to rejoice and peace.
I don’t want to think, that through 20 years old this summer’s portrait will be only from protesters and penitents, from fallen monuments and masked people, from wars and explosions, oil crises and riots. After all, in fact, all of the above is only a small part of our being. Yes, very noticeable, but nonetheless – insignificant.
Someone will be surprised and say – "How so: all channels are just clogged with this. From all screens, then they killed someone and people protest, then there’s another flash and everything is again masked by house. Yes, that's noticeable, but think, how much time does it all take in your life. Even if you are quarantined at home. How much time do you go in the mask?
At work, maybe, in the subway or store – Yes. But you're not a mask at home, and you sleep without her. Yes, and what can I say, during the most tough orders on the street, we were far from all and not always wearing masks.
That's why I don’t want to get stuck on the actual topics of reportage and street photography.. Although “masked” I have photos and a little later I will post material on this topic. In the meantime, this:

Today I decided to post a selection of street photos taken in July in Moscow. Excellent day – sunny and not so hot. The people are in a summer mood and of course there are not many in the center, as happened on weekends before, but nonetheless…..
by the way, what attracts attention in Moscow – no tourists from abroad. Almost not.
And I was thinking, what's wrong? And then it came to – there is not a single group of tourists from the Middle Kingdom. But in recent years 10 Moscow center is simply not conceivable without tourists from China. But not here. But I think, what not for long. If we are not covered by anything, soon to appear.
What else attracts attention and this can be seen in the photo – people are free. We didn’t understand, what is true lack of freedom. Most did not understand, and then they understood almost everything and the more valuable every day, in which you can leave the house and just walk around the city – without mask and gloves, without shy away from any sneeze or cough.
anyway. So – what is filmed, what and where. Everything was filmed in the center of Moscow – Nikolskaya, the Red Square, Vasilyevsky descent and pedestrian crossing at Zaryadye park. I shot on a Nikon D750 with an old telephoto lens 80-200 2,8.
What else I want to note – I thought that there would be more aberrations. Still, the day was sunny, and the lens is quite old, deserved. But no – holds the lens well and in only one case were chromatic aberrations on a white shirt – shot on an open aperture. Yes and that, in black and white it’s not at all significant.
Toward evening, raised iso to 320 and everything is acceptable even in the shade. by the way, about the shadow. I somehow complained about the noise and asked about the D750 – they say in the reviews show, as on 3200 and everything is fine.
well yes, but they take off an illuminated test piece or surface, most often clamping the diaphragm or reducing the power of light, but it's still light, and in the shadows everything looks a little worse, to put it mildly. But even in the shade it’s possible to omit ISO to 800. My stocks take photos taken in the shade and on the values 3200. But in this case, I quite correct the noise and reduce the frame to 4000 pixels long side – almost one and a half times.
Well, actually the pictures themselves.
