Sunset landscape on the Volga is a great theme for a photographer too, and for the artist. And now the sunsets are still filmed on video and it looks great if the hands are good and the technique in these hands is confidently held. I'm not doing well with the video, I'll tell you right away - I shot last year on my smartphone. So that, if you look, do not rush too much.

I need to tell you and I have said this a couple of times in my videos., I'm not a fan of sunset and sunrise photos. This is pure subjectivity, but, as they say, what has grown has grown. I will explain my position a little and this is very different from the generally accepted ideas about shooting landscape photographs, which are common among photographers, and among the advanced connoisseurs of this genre.

Moreover, I will repeat again, I understand, what's wrong, but I can't help myself. Well, I don’t like to shoot during normal hours - in gold and blue hours.. And my biggest sin - I like landscapes shot at lunchtime, when the sun just floods everything with its light. Like this:

they say, that such pictures are flat and not beautiful, but I do not pretend to be true - I like it so much and this is how I see this world - flooded with bright light, when everything is visible, every detail and every leaf , as in the photo above.

This is probably all because, that I'm not a fig not an artist, but just an observer, fixing event, an object or scene here and now at a specific time interval. Cost of perception of the world.

But last spring I stepped on the throat of my song and decided - and damn it #YazhePhotographer and went to Saratov beach to shoot the sunset. If you do not live in Saratov or Engels, or generally in the Saratov region, I will explain - Saratov beach is located on an island and a bridge connecting Saratov and Engels passes through it. The place is great for relaxation, and for shooting a wide variety of scenes. The island is big enough and what is not there .

And sand, and trees with bushes and reeds with reeds are real thickets. by the way, even a nudist beach is somewhere. The beach itself has not been seen, but how the people dragged there naked a couple of times watched.

Just imagine - I shoot pebbles in the sand, carried away, I hear someone coming. I look up and here a naked man with a backpack on his arm wanders with an equally dressed lady. Such a sight to behold, I have to tell you.

So about shooting.

I arrived early, to catch the whole process and shoot more. The first pictures were taken of the Engel side, and then walked along the empty beach - it's still spring.

I took several pictures and already when the sun began to set I settled down under the bridge, set up a tripod and took dozens of pictures of sunset landscapes overlooking Saratov.
